The retreat will be held at Lakeview Lodge at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch on Lake Bridgeport. The Ranch is off highway 380 just west of Bridgeport, Texas. There are over 3050 acres of picturesque countryside nestled around 19 miles of shoreline on the lake.

Don't worry, there's electricity and running water!  Guests will stay in heated and air-conditioned dorms or cabins at Lakeview Lodge.  These include indoor bathrooms.   Cabins sleep 4 to 6 and have a VCR and kitchen.  Dorms sleep 8 and have no kitchen.  Linens are provided.  Meals will be provided in the dining hall - cooked for us by Lakeview chefs.

See the sun rise over the lake, the sun set from the Gazebo, and the stars big and bright at night.  Have chapel in the woods and sing songs in the Dining Hall.

Cabins will be filled first.  When the cabins are full, guests will be assigned to the dorms.  Get your registration in early!  If you want to be in a cabin with a friend or relative, be sure they have their deposit in early also.

An information packet will be mailed to you with a schedule and a list of what to bring.

The weekend will be staffed by outdoors women with skills they are willing to share.  Many of the  women on staff have had extensive training and experience in the area they instruct.  Many are avid backpackers, campers, canoeing enthusiasts, horsewomen, rock climbers and more.  We have professionals and active amateurs who can teach others.

The C.O.P.E. course will be instructed by a National Camping School director.  Range instructors will be NRA certified.
